Mitsubishi Evo Performance tips part five

Also for the air intake part , I'd recommend K&N filters with the cold air intake piping , it'll go really well with the other parts that you installed and you won't feel like the car is being choking whenever you press the gas paddle because you have a bad quality filter.

So after you install the new engine internals , radiator , intercooler , oil cooler , exhaust system , turbo etc..... after you've installed all these parts your car will be ready to go , but I recommend that you also do something with the suspension to cope with the upgrades you did ..
I pesonally prefer to install any adjustable height suspension , coilovers of any brand you want , I go with D2 ,they're cheap , of good quality , there's also Koni ....the choice is yours.. because if you're goin to the drag strip you might wanna lower your car to have more stability at high speeds and to lower the drag coefficient , but for everyday driving you don't need it that low so you'll just raise it again in like 3 minutes... no big deal....

Also better strut bars are recommended to give you better handling and to increase the life time of your chassis , the Braking system should be upgraded to bigger dics and better disc pads of your choice but don't forget now you have much more power than the stock car , thus you must have a better breaking system , an upgrade of one of Brembo's brake kits should be great , since the car originally come with one....

And the most important thing after all what you did is to reprogram the ECU , get a performance chip , boost controllers of your choice , but the car won't run with out these things , it won't even start.... so be sure that you do everything the right way to have a beautiful everyday use monsterous car at your hand.

Finally , please make sure that any of the previous modifications doesn't break the law where you live and that it's street legal , make sure that you drive the right way and don't go endangering others... and that's it :D

take care and I'll see you soon in another article about the exterior and interior modifications on the EVO ....
