Mitsubishi Evo Performance tips part two

So let's start talking, if you want an EVO VIII that's more powerful than the stock car but yet still street drivable and still has a decent amount of functionality then I'd guess you'd better be aiming for a range of 500-600 HP , which will plenty for occasional visit to the local drag strip and yet the car is still pretty much usable for everyday driving.

So to reach 500 HP from an EVO VIII isn't really that hard , because this car was designed to be a monster but you'll have to spend some money to reach that target , we'll start by the internals of the engine..

You'll pretty much have to change the Pistons , Con Rods to be able to handle the power you want because you'll raise the boost and to get good reliable pistons I suggest you visit RPW (Racing Performance Works)becasue they're a company that's specialized in Mitsubishi and they produce nearly everything you need to build up your everyday use monster of an EVO , they even have performance guides for those who need it.... so From RPW you can get your pistons which I recommend to be CP pistons , they produce a wide range of pistons that are light , durable and can withstand huge amount of generated power .

As for the Con Rods , of course you need to get forged con rods , but first resolve to the manufacturer or RPW to confirm that these con rods will handle the boost you want , I mean you don't want to pay for some kind of con rods and then watch as they turn in to banana shaped con rods because of your high boost.... So I recommend that you use the Eagle forged con rods for the 4g63 engine ,they're suitable for even more than 500 horsepower so no need to worry if you use them.
