Mitsubishi Evo Performance tips part one

In this article I'll be talking about the Mitsubishi EVO VIII performance , how to tune it to your desired settings and how much power you can get out of it .....

As I said in the previous article the Mitsubishi Evo VIII is powered by a 2 liter 4g63 turbo engine that produces nearly 280 HP , well that can be upgraded to a lot more , all you need to know is how much you want to spend on the car and the targeted power range you want....
you see , if you're new to the car tuning world my advice to you is always have a target to reach , don't just start and say okay I want a more powerful car and that's it , ... always have some idea in mind about what your car will look like , perform like after you've finished your work on it ,

anyway to get back to the subject , if you want to tune a Mitsubishi EVO VIII to reach any range of power you want , first you'll have to keep that range of power in mind , have enough money to buy the parts and pay for the workshop that'll do the dirty work ( if you're a capabale mechanic and can do it yourself that would be great , because you'd save yourself a lot of money ) but not everyone can do these stuff because it can get a bit complicated.

So after you have a target number of horses you want to squeez out of the 2 litre engine lets start with what you have to do to reach this......
First of all if you're thinking about raising the boost above 18 psi then start thinking about changing nearly everything in the motor , because you'll need to change the Pistons , con rods , and if you want really high boost something like 40 or 50 psi , then you'll change the crank shaft , transmission a whole a bunch of other stuff , but you would turn your car into a drag strip racing monster , I've seen EVOs reach raging power output as high as 1100 HP , but these cars aren't meant for everyday street driving....
